The care of a private family office, without having to build one

One point of contact for every advisor your family relies on.

About

Andrew has spent 8+ years inside two single family offices serving the founders of a private equity firm and a media company, where he has owned the books for 40+ entities and trusts and managed every outside advisor. A former PwC auditor, he founded Everwood to bring that same level of care to more families. Everwood is intentionally a boutique firm, so every client works with Andrew directly.

Frequently asked questions

Have another question? Ask Andrew directly.

I already have a wealth manager and a CPA. How is Everwood different?

Your wealth manager oversees your investments, and your CPA prepares your returns, but neither one is responsible for the full picture. Everwood sits alongside them as your family’s single point of contact: keeping the books across every entity and trust, making sure each advisor has what they need, and catching the issues that fall between them. Everwood doesn’t manage money or sell products, so it works with your existing advisors, not in competition with them.

Do you manage my investments?

Not at this time. Everwood handles everything in your family’s financial life except managing the investments themselves. Instead, Everwood works with the people who do. In the private markets, that means working with your fund managers on capital calls, distributions, and notices. In the public markets, it means coordinating with your wealth manager or any other financial advisor. That may change in the future, but for now, investment decisions stay with your investment managers.

How does pricing work?

Pricing has two parts: a one-time setup fee, which covers onboarding such as gathering your documents, setting up your books and reporting, and coordinating with your advisors, followed by a fixed monthly fee for ongoing service. Both are set by the services you choose and the complexity of your family’s affairs, such as the number of entities, properties, and household staff. There are no commissions, no product sales, and no percentage of assets, so the advice you get is never tied to how much you invest or what you buy. After the introductory conversation, you’ll receive a written proposal with both fees before anything begins.

How do you keep our money and information secure?

Everwood never takes custody of your assets. Your money stays in your own accounts, and Everwood has view-only access, so no money moves without your approval, and every wire is verified by phone. Documents exchanged with Everwood are sent through encrypted links, and your files and reports are available anytime through a secure client portal. Every login requires multi-factor authentication.

What does getting started look like?

It begins with a confidential conversation about your family, your advisors, and what’s taking up too much of your time. From there, Andrew reviews your entities, accounts, and current reporting, then recommends the services that fit. Once you approve the proposal, Everwood gathers your documents, introduces itself to each of your advisors, and sets up your books and reporting, so you see a complete picture of your family’s affairs within the first few months.
